A long and overdue hello again.
This past year has been eventful, confronting at times, but ultimately motivating. I'll start by saying thank you to those who have continued to listen and support this project during the quieter moments. It means more than I can put into words. It’s strange to think that INITIUM was released over two years ago now. A lot has changed since then.
Moving forward, I want to return to the core of what this project was built on in the first place, creating music that feels real. Music that stands on its own, without needing to rely on anything else to carry it. Right now, that means embracing the absence of a voice rather than seeing it as a once believed limitation. If anything, it opens the door wider creatively.
With that in mind, this next chapter of Bring Upon The Dawn will lean into experimentation. There are no longer strict boundaries around what the sound should be. I want to explore new ideas, new textures, and even step in and out of the genre that this project has sat within for the past few years. The goal is simple: make something honest.
The release of “Abomination” marks the first step in that direction. It’s the beginning of a shift. A willingness to try, to push, and to see where the music can go when there are no limits placed on it.
For the foreseeable future, I’ll be releasing instrumentals. Until the right voice is found, the music will be left to speak for itself.
That said, I don’t see this as a closed door.
The invitation is open to any vocalist or musician who feels inspired by the music. If you hear something in these tracks and want to build your own story on top of them, you’re more than welcome to do so. Share it, shape it, make it your own—just be sure to give proper credit to Bring Upon The Dawn (CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS).
This project has always been about expression, and I want that to extend beyond just myself.
This is a new chapter.
One without limits.
One focused on creating something real.
